Sugar Mobile Browser View End of Life Notice
For all the Sugar Sell, Serve, Enterprise, and Professional users out there on versions 10.3 or later, we wanted to let you know that the Mobile Browser View will soon no longer be available to mobile users, beginning with the release of the Q1 2021 releases in January 2021.
If you still want access to Sugar on a Mobile device, fear not! Download and install the native Sugar Mobile app for iOS and Android from the appropriate app stores.
Here are FAQS about the change:
Why is the mobile browser version of Sugar going away?
SugarCRM would like to provide a seamless desktop to mobile experience via our mobile applications on Android and iOS.
How will your data be impacted?
User data will not be impacted by removing the Mobile Browser View. When downloading and setting up Sugar Mobile, you will find your instance information as usual. See the Android and iOS user guides for details on using the mobile app.
What’s next?
The Mobile Browser View will be removed from SugarCloud instances when the Sugar instance is upgraded to Q1 2021 (10.3.0) release and from on-site instances when they are upgraded to Sugar’s Q2 2021 (11.0.0) release.
What are the supported platforms?
From 10.3 onward, Mobile Browser View will be deprecated and no longer accessible. Sugar Mobile users will be prompted to download the iOS or Android Sugar Mobile applications. See the Mobile Supported Platforms for the supported iOS and Android operating systems.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions or need any help updating your Sugar instance.
