Switch to On-Demand now.

Sugar On-Demand

What is unique about the Sugar On Demand offering?

Sugar On-Demand is a more modern and flexible software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering than offerings based on technologies available even just a few years ago. The Sugar On-Demand architecture marries the cost and scalability benefits of shared computing resources with private-instance data partitioning that satisfies the most demanding data confidentiality requirements.

What exactly is the Sugar Open Cloud? What does it mean to my business?

The Sugar Open Cloud is the unique way SugarCRM delivers its technology across all cloud provider platforms. Through this unique “run anywhere” design approach, Sugar applications offer customers unmatched flexibility and portability. Users are able to develop and run their Sugar deployment on SugarCRM’s public cloud service (Sugar On-Demand), on their own private cloud.

Why can all customers download the Sugar software in addition to using their Sugar On-Demand account?

Freedom and flexibility. Businesses with simple CRM needs are happier with their CRM solution deployed on-demand. But if the Sugar On-Demand environment is not enough for a customer’s more complex needs, they can run the Sugar software anywhere. So if you have requirements that include code-level customizations or integrations, it can be developed on a local instance, and deployed in any cloud provider or on-site environment.

What are the differences between going with Sugar On-Demand versus on-site in my own privately managed cloud environment or on-site in my own data center?

Sugar On-Demand is designed for hosting tens of thousands of SugarCRM customers. With the security and scalability needs of these on-demand customers in mind, the constraints of Sugar On-Demand are different than what is possible when running the Sugar products on-site or in a virtual private cloud with a cloud provider.
