Considering CRM? Consider SugarCRM
SugarCRM is getting the recognition and respect it deserves. In a recent article highlighting alternatives to Salesforce.com on www.softwareadvice.com, Lauren Carlson commends SugarCRM for being the most popular open source CRM software package on the market and one of the most cost effective options available. We love Sugar for its open source and customizability as well as its price point, but it also happens to have a rich feature set and a huge library of 3rd party add-on solutions and integrations.
There are a lot of reasons why SugarCRM is a great alternative solution to Salesforce. Sugar offers you deployment options on-site, on the Sugar cloud, on a partner cloud, or on a public cloud. This gives you control of your software and your information. With this unique feature you can get your data out anytime you want, rather than your data being in the unusable format you get with Salesforce. Sugar offers you more value, unlike Salesforce you don’t have to upgrade to have access to all the features of the system. With the release of Sugar 6.2 Sugar added ala carte options to offer you more features without having to upgrade your entire company, and with the different editions of Sugar you can make sure all your requirements are being met.
One of our favorite features of SugarCRM is its flexibility. We have been able to customize the solution around the way we work, by adding fields and modules our CRM software now reflects our company. Because Sugar is an open source solution we have been able to develop integrations with other leading software packages including Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 as well as Constant Contact. With the release of 6.0, Sugar improved the UI, and with the new release of 6.2 the UI keeps improving. With this new release they have also improved the social media integrations, with Linkedin, Twitter, and Facebook you can use social media to help grow your business from within your CRM software. Other integrations include: box.net, GoToMeeting, Google Docs, Lotus Live, Qontext, and WebEx. With all the features Sugar offers in each edition, users are getting everything they need at a price they can afford.
