Sage Survey Finds Optimism
A Sage Software survey of some 1500 small business owners found guarded optimism about their financial future. They reported that cost cutting and financial conservatism were still the most frequent strategies being used, but that 62% of respondents expressed the belief that the economy will improve by middle 2011. This is consistent with our discussions with clients and partners. While there is optimism, there is also the “new normal”…the days of spending on a whim without regard for ROI would appear to be behind us. This is how it should be.
