General Ledger Batch Processing
Since MAS 90 version 4.0, General Ledger has the ability to do batch processing. However, this option is only available with General Journal Entry and Transaction Journal Entry.
- Navigate to General Ledger->Setup->General Ledger Options
- Click on 2. Entry tab
- Click the check-box to enable General Journal Entry or Transaction Journal Entry
- Click ACCEPT
When batch processing has been enabled, transactions within each task are grouped into individual batches. This allows for batches post one at a time and allowing different posting dates of all batches to post with the same date.
When batch processing is not used, all transactions entered together in the individual tasks post with the same date.
